Carl R. Olson, Sr.
Carl is a sixth-generation Texan who was born and raised in San Antonio, where he has lived all of his life (except for his college years at the University of Texas at Austin). Carl graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1970, then began his career in the commercial real estate business. Carl is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Texas.
Luke Olson
Luke is an eighth-generation Texan who was born and raised in San Antonio, where he has lived all of his life (except for his college years at Texas Tech University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and a Minor in Psychology in 2000). Luke joined Olson Properties in September of 2001. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Texas.
Our History
In 1970, Carl Olson began working on the brokerage of every type of commercial and industrial real estate property, focusing primarily on the sale of land around the edge of San Antonio.
Inside San Antonio, Carl developed speculative industrial facilities including three buildings at the Center Gate Circle office-warehouse complex and a rail-served bulk warehouse on Chestnut Street.
Luke Olson joined the company in 2001 and has been active in commercial real estate since then.
Mapping System & Property Database
During the 1970s, Carl began to build a map system and database to research every tract of vacant land in Bexar and surrounding counties.
Over time, Carl and Luke expanded the database and map system to include ranches in all 254 counties in Texas. The Olson property mapping system currently includes 55,226 carefully crafted maps of ranches and commercial land. The Olsons diligently study the important features on every tract of land regarding ownership, neighbors, topography, water features, improvements, livestock, wildlife, and vegetation.
